NO-SHOW OR AN EARLY DEPATURE FORM YOU TRIP IS COVERED …

… due to the following reasons:

• suddenly occuring serious illness such as COVID-19
• serious physical injury caused by an accident
• death of the insured person or a family member
• pregnancy or complications during pregnancy
• serious damage to your property at your place of residence as a result of acts of God (fire, etc.) or the
• criminal act of a third party

The products Hotelstorno Plus and premium cover following reasons for cancellation or travel interruption in case of COVID 19:

• increased temperature of the guest at check-in, even if a later test is negative
  a positive COVID-19 test with no symptomsŽ
• a COVID-19 illness
• illness of close relative or a person living in the same house with urgent compulsory attendance
• quarantine due to the illness of a close relative in the same house
• quarantine as a K1 contact by official separation notice
• termination of the trip due to a positive testing and quarantine at home
• coverage of the costs of an involuntary extension of the vacation due to illness during the vacation.

There is no insurance cover for COVID 19 in case of:

• cancellation of the trip due to concerns about infection due to the increasing number of cases
• no trip in case of a high-risk patient classification
• official closure of the hotel
• travel warning for the area in which the hotel is located
• quarantine for the whole hotel

Depending on the insured journey costs, the cancellation costs if a trip has not been commenced and the unused travel services if a trip has been cancelled, will be paid.

In the event of an accident, distress at sea or in mountains, the search and rescue costs up to EUR 7.500,- will be refunded.
